Surrounded by the magnificent Umbrian mountains, Nun Relais is located in the heart of Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis and a place full of charm and spirituality. Its prestigious 18 suites, each unique, are a perfect combination of design, technological comfort, and history: the relais is the result of the restoration of the ancient Santa Caterina monastery, following an ambitious project that sought to maintain a balance between the arcane beauty of Roman-era artifacts and the lightness of contemporary architectural vision.

Guests of Nun can choose to indulge in delicious dishes prepared by the chef, inspired by the best recipes of the Umbrian tradition and national cuisine, or treat themselves to a day of pleasure and wellness at the Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum.

In this enchanted place, you can choose from customized wellness paths or simply relax in the jacuzzi of the pool, admiring the six majestic limestone pillars from the 1st century AD that surround the pool, held together by an incredible synergy of strength and balance.
Nun Relais is ideal for any type of stay: it also features a space suitable for event organization, the ancient Sala Santa Caterina.

Nun SPA Museum

In this enchanted place, you can choose from customized wellness paths or simply relax in the jacuzzi of the pool, while admiring the six majestic limestone pillars from the 1st century AD that surround the pool, held together by an incredible synergy of strength and balance.

This is where, after 2000 years, the cult of water continues, in a magical setting where the reminiscences of the ancient Romans still live today through the path of the four rooms with different temperatures and humidity levels: the Tepidario, the Calidario, the Sudatorio, and the Frigidario. After the wellness path, guests can enhance their relaxation sensations in the multi-massage pool and the jacuzzi.
A well-stocked herbal tea corner enriches the relaxation area.

The Path

Start with the Tepidarium:
Temperature: 30-35° C
Humidity: 60-70%.
Relaxation area before entering the Caldarium and after the thermal path.

Then move on to the Caldarium:
Recommended stay: 10-15 minutes
Temperature: 40-45° C
Humidity: 85-95%
Entering the Caldarium is suggested after acclimatization in the Tepidarium.

Next, proceed to the Sudatorium:
Recommended stay: 10-15 minutes
Temperature: around 60° C
Humidity: 45-55%
Frequency: no more than 2/3 times
Entering the Sudatorium is suggested after passing through the Caldarium.

And finally, the Frigidarium:
Recommended stay: 5-10 minutes
Temperature: 10-15° C
Humidity: around 50%
Entering the Frigidarium is suggested after passing through the Sudatorium.

After completing the wellness path, enhance the benefits of your relaxation day with a treatment.

Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum is open daily from 09:00 AM to 08:00 PM.

All guests who book the Nun Path will receive a SPA kit upon arrival, including a bathrobe, slippers, and a towel. The changing rooms are equipped with hairdryers. Wearing a swimsuit is mandatory in the relaxation pools and common areas. The staff of Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum will be happy to provide guidance on the best use of the SPA path.

Access is not allowed for guests under 16 years old. Our young guests aged 16 to 18 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Cancellations can be made without any penalty if requested at least 24 hours before the appointment.
